Governor Northam
Starting Monday, March 23, the Governor’s daily press conference to provide an update on how the Virginia state government is addressing COVID-19 crisis is moving to 2pm. You can view the press conference on the Governor’s Facebook page here.
Transportation
WMATA announced schedule updates for Metro trains and buses for March 23 through March 27. WMATA continues to request that we use the Metro system for essential travel only. The announcement is here.
Community Partners
Giant Food of Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia and Delaware is offering dedicated shopping hours for senior citizens 60-and-older and individuals with compromised immune systems from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. every day of the week, starting on March 20. More information is
available here.
Costco will have dedicated shopping hours for members who are 60 and older starting on March 24 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. For full announcement, including services available during this time, please see here.
