Neighbors,
Happy Thanksgiving!
We are just seven weeks away from the start of the 2022 legislative session. As I prepare to go to Richmond on behalf of our community, I will be participating in several Town Halls. I hope that you will be able to join to share your priorities.
I am honored to announce that I have been reappointed as Assistant Whip for the Democratic House Caucus. I look forward to continuing in this leadership role and l working towards a more welcoming and inclusive Commonwealth where all thrive.

REDISTRICTING NEXT STEPS
The Virginia Redistricting Commission was unable to decide on new congressional and General Assembly maps for the upcoming decade. As the Virginia Constitution dictates, the maps will now be drawn by the Virginia Supreme Court.
The Virginia Supreme Court appointed two individuals to draw maps on November 19, 2021. As the Virginia Supreme Court noted, the maps must be presented to the Court for consideration within 30 days.
Public comments can be provided by emailing redistricting@vacourts.gov and must be about Virginia redistricting.
